Thailand International Photographers Society (TIPS) enters its 16th year, growing from a passionate hobbyist group into a premier community of over 4,800 members. To celebrate, the society is launching new features and an international campaign led by its Royal Cup-winning founder.

In the Thai photography scene, “TIPS” (Thailand International Photographers Society) is renowned as a vibrant community where creativity meets technical mastery. Founded and led by Mr. Somyot Sudprattana (P’Ket)—a distinguished photographer honored with the Royal Cup of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in 1999 and a UNESCO Honor Award in 2000—the group has become a vital “Learning Space” for photographers worldwide.

What sets TIPS apart is its “Culture of Sharing.” Members do more than just post beautiful images; they provide a “Behind the Shot” look at their work. Every featured photo includes detailed technical data (EXIF) such as Camera Model, Lens, Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO. This educational approach allows members to learn practical skills, from mastering the Rule of Thirds to understanding the complexity of Golden Sections.
